Quixtar Income vs. Tools Income

Diamond Don J Lorencz:

When I was a diamond in the business over 80% of the money I was paid in the 'business' came from the sale of tapes, books and function tickets to the 'group' and not from Amway/Quixtar!

Diamond Bo Short:

If it is true that the "larger pins" receive 50%-90% of their income from the training system then I would contend that it might be working quite well-for them.

Diamond Bruce Anderson:

Bruce,

Can you estimate what percentage of your income at diamond came from tools vs. Amquix (Amway - Quixtar)?

1/3 Prod(ucts)
2/3 Tool(s)

Emerald Jeff Probandt:

It is my belief that a large portion of the Diamond’s income is in the form of profit from the system.

Occasionally, a smart distributor will notice that there are 15,000 people in the room and ask the tough question, "If we all paid $2-300 each to be here, is there any profit left over?" First, let me give you the honest and correct answer. Yes, there is almost always a profit left over. I have never seen a major function in 6 years that hasn’t had a profit. In fact there is a lot of money left over. The Emeralds and Diamonds split it up. As an Emerald I usually get 2-3 thousand dollars from a weekend function. Emeralds are not privy to how much the Diamond bonuses are, but we have all been told many times, the real money is at Diamond. The structure from which we split up the pot is very organized. As an Emerald, I receive about $10 per person. I’m guessing the Diamond bonus would be $20-50 per person.

Also from Bo:

"My experience is that a system "pin" will begin to make more from their share of the tools profits than they do from Quixtar products (PV/BV and bonuses) at about the emerald level and will make the great majority of their income from tools rather than Quixtar products at the diamond level and above."

But lawDawg,

The system is the key to success in Quixtar! Why shouldn't these guys be paid accordingly?

What? The "proven" system of success only produces one diamond out of every 90,000+ IBOs?

Oh.

1 in 97,222 is being generous, too.

...must be saturated or something? :)

...but my upline told me this thing would never saturate.

btw, excellent blog, lawDawg.

Thanks, Doug. Funny part is, it had already been saturated for about 30 years when your upline told you that.
